We exist to bring heaven to earth as we love our neighbors like Jesus.

Leadership

  • Braden & Lindsey Etcheson

  • Braden answered the call to become our pastor and joined the staff at FBC in October, 2024. He has nearly 20 years experience in ministry as a Youth Minister, Preaching Minister, Campus Pastor, Church Planter and Hospice Chaplain.

The Etchesons have four children, a cat and two pugs and are proud to call Rutland County home.

In 2020, they took a leap of faith to move to Vermont, motivated by a simple but powerful idea:

    Love Your Neighbor as Yourself.

Beliefs and Values

Our Beliefs and Values shape the teaching, culture and direction of our church.

Core Values

Jesus Rules

Jesus is the center of everything we do as a church. And we want to live our lives in such a way that we point people to Jesus in everything we do.

As followers of Jesus, we want to:

Be With Jesus and Be Like Jesus.

Every teaching, belief and practice of Fellowship Bible Church can be traced back to Jesus.

We want to love our neighbors like Jesus.

…Until Jesus Runs This Town.

Outside the Box

We want to be a community-wide portrait of the love of God.

If you experience Jesus at one of our worship services, in a Bible Study or a community-wide event… Great!

If your neighbors experience Jesus through you - where you live, work and play? Even better!

…God is not only in a church building.

This Generation

We will gladly give up the things we love to reach a future generation we love even more.

Do you want to know a secret? The kids are not the future. They are the present. And God has already begun a good work in them.

… You are never too young to change the world.

Everyone Belongs

The church should shock the world by who it chooses to include. That’s what Jesus did.

We would rather be excluded for who we choose to include than be included for who we choose to exclude.

Everyone is invited to the table of God.

Bet-The-Farm Generosity

Not a tithe. Not a tip jar.

A give-to-everyone-who-has-a-need generosity.

Not everyone who is generous loves their neighbor. But everyone who loves their neighbor is generous.

We give to our neighbors in need.

…People who love, give.
